ANNOUNCED FOR THE PENSACOLA INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL IN FLORIDA.
Festival runs from November 24 - 28, 2004.
The
Pensacola International Music Festival kicks off March 2010 in style
by launching a four-day event in Pensacola Beach from Nov 24 -28. Singers
and bands will be showcasing their talents in front of influential members
from all sectors of the music industry.
The Pensacola International Music Festival (PIMF) was founded in April
2004 by entertainment guru Leslie Rovero and is fast becoming one of the
largest exhibitions of innovative musical talent in the U.S. Signed and
unsigned artists from all over the world have the chance to showcase their
talents and network with agents, producers, record labels, managers, composers,
filmmakers, screenwriters and musical arrangers.
Musical genres include R&B, country, rap, rock, pop, jazz Latin and
gospel. Participating artists were selected by a team of industry professionals
and performances will be judged and winning acts will be offered various
opportunities in the music industry.
The whole spectrum of the music industry is expected to attend the opening
night party on November 24th, 2004. Representatives from Sony Music, Arista
Records, MTV, Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment, The William Morris Agency,
Rolling Stone, Vibe magazine will be attending the PIMF special events.
The PIMF will also host insider panels and seminars focusing on the business
side of the music industry. Distinguished speakers include A & R representatives,
Arista records, whose rosters include: Usher, OutKast, Faith Evans, Loon,
Pink and Whitney Houston to name a few. Panelist Damon Eden from Bad Boy
Worldwide Entertainment commented 'It's so important for aspiring singers,
artists, writers, and producers to become involved in events such as the
PIMF that genuinely support and promote new talent.'
Live performances will run from Nobember 24 - 28 at a specially designed
stages at the Hilton Garden Inn and Jubilees Entertainment Complex. Additionally,
the festival will also host after-parties for participating artists, festival
delegates, sponsors, industry, press and members of the public.
